A non-profit trade association of mobility dealers, manufacturers, and rehabilitation professionals that advocates providing safe, reliable vehicles and modifications to enhance accessibility for all people.  NMEDA members are required to adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and to follow the NMEDA Guidelines, which detail recommended practices on equipment installations and modifications annually.  NMEDA is striving to unify and improve the mobility equipment industry and service to people with disabilities.
