Banner Health presented Quality Vans and Specialty Vehicles with a $100,000 check to begin work on their new Community Outreach Medical Unit. Banner will use their new mobile medical unit to reach out to different communities and offer free healthcare to children. It will include exam rooms, medical equipment, and staff to provide resources comparable to a local hospital to the children of Maricopa County. Look for Banner’s new medical unit in October 2012. We’d like to introduce you to Tom Schauer, the newest addition to our Quality Vans team. We look forward to adding his expertise in outside sales to our growing team. Tom has ­­­­­over 30 years of experience in fleet management and 15 years experience in mobility.  In his most recent position, Tom managed outside sales for a local car dealership. He developed relationships with local transportation businesses and oversaw a large sales territory. He also spent some time at another local mobility company as a territory sales manager for Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Utah where he implemented and maintained a direct sales model for medical emergency, nonemergency, and commercial transportation companies. We’re confident that his skills and experience will help us foster an even better experience for you, our customer.

Tom is responsible for the overall leadership of our outside sales department and will be hitting the pavement to talk to our customers and find out how we can make a better service for you. Tom will work closely with our customers, sales team, and marketing department to ensure we offer you the best service possible. Nissan NV DUI Conversion for Phoenix PD

Our Nissan NV Mobile DUI Unit is the first of its kind. The Nissan NV is an ideal platform for converting to a DUI checkpoint because it comes standard with a high ceiling, making it easier to stand up in the vehicle without the added cost of raising the roof.

The DUI checkpoint includes a blood draw station and can also be fit for an Intoxilyzer 5000. Our Nissan NV conversion also includes a docking station for a Dell Laptop. This allows both the driver seat and the passenger seat to toggle the docking station to their seat in order to fill out police reports. The front passenger seat is rear facing so that the officer can fill our reports while watching the suspects.

United Healthcare Sales Van

Quality Vans and Specialty Vehicles delivered a mobile healthcare sales unit to United Healthcare on February 13, 2012. The mobile healthcare vehicle is built on a sprinter platform and equipped with custom interior storage, an interior/exterior PA system, and an interior/exterior 48″ flat screen tv mount. United Healthcare will use this vehicle as an outreach unit to bring healthcare to underprivileged communities.

Quality Vans and Specialty Vehicles built and delivered a mobile interior design display vehicle on a Ford Transit Connect for Studio B Interior Design. The interior design vehicle was equipped with a funky cheetah print carpet, raised floor platform with drawer storage underneath, a custom-designed cabinet to hold design samples, railing to hold presentation boards, and plenty of space to transport smaller furniture pieces. Before and After of the Phoenix to Nogales DUI Unit

Using funds allocated from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS), the Nogales Police Department was able to get a completely rennovated DUI Checkpoint using the City of Phoenix’s old DUI Unit. Quality Vans and Specialty Vehicles gutted the interior and replaced it with all new cabinets, desks, flooring, and walls. AZGOHS DUI Season Kickoff Event

The Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety held their Holiday DUI season kickoff event today at the Capitol.
